Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

Charter and management specialist Elit’Avia and services provider ZenithJet are highlighting the business aviation needs for high-net-worth individuals and their families during an invitation-only event scheduled for November 23 in London. The event differs from typical business aviation gatherings in that it will solely focus on the interests and concerns of family office professionals, or those who represent high-net-worth individuals and their families.

 


This event represents an evolution that Elit’Avia and ZenithJet have seen as those advisors have become more interested and involved in the business aviation needs of their clients, a spokesman said, adding that the gathering is attracting upwards of five-dozen such professionals.

 


“Family office professionals have done an excellent job of representing their clients’ interests over the years,” said Nick Houseman, co-owner of Elit’Avia and owner of ZenithJet. “Historically, their areas of expertise have included wealth management, real estate, and philanthropy. More recently, family offices have sought expert advice on aircraft management and related services.”

 


As Brexit looms, Houseman added, “there is an increased urgency to understanding potential challenges and ensuring that business aviation travel remains efficient, convenient, and luxurious.” He noted that Elit'Avia and ZenithJet&nbsp;are among of the few, if only companies, to tailor a program specifically to family office professionals.
