Honeywell Unveils New Flight Planning Software
Debuting at NBAA '18, the new GoDirect system promises to make the flight planning process faster and easier.

Looking to help pilots and flight planners cut down on the number of tools they require to perform their tasks, Honeywell Aerospace is unveiling its new GoDirect flight planning technology, which the company says will provide faster and better options when planning flights worldwide. The software system and its accompanying website are designed to simplify the planning process by minimizing the amount of information that needs to be input, thereby reducing the time required to plan a flight. According to Honeywell, which is demonstrating the new system at NBAA-BACE (Booth 2600), in a two-month trial period, it generated both domestic and international flight plans 75 percent more rapidly than older methods.
