Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

NBAA has released the schedule for its 2019 Regional Forum program with events to be in held in Palm Beach, Florida; Houston; and White Plains, New York. The forums provide a venue for the regional business aviation community to gather, show its wares, and discuss pressing issues. The events typically attract about 2,500 attendees, 150 indoor exhibits, and more than 35 aircraft, NBAA said. Educational sessions cover everything from market updates, tax and regulatory changes, and safety issues to workforce development.

 


The association holds the forums annually in South Florida and the New York-metropolitan area, two of the top markets for business aviation exhibitors. Texas also is a “vital” marketplace for the industry, the association added.

 


The Palm Beach event will take place on Feb. 6, 2019 at Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). The Houston event follows on March 14, 2019 at William P. Hobby (HOU), and the White Plains forum at Westchester County Airport (HPN) is scheduled for June 6.

 


“NBAA Regional Forums are an effective way to get business done at the local level, and provide a venue for companies exploring the use of business aviation to learn more about our industry,” said Mike Nichols, NBAA vice president of operational excellence and professional development.
