Clay Lacy Aviation recently held an opening ceremony for its new business aircraft maintenance facility at Connecticut’s Waterbury-Oxford Airport (OXC). The 65,000-sq-ft facility can complete light line maintenance for engine and airframe, avionics troubleshooting and repairs, and minor interior updates and reconditioning. Clay Lacy Aviation expects to receive FAA Part 145 certification later this year.

 


“We were delighted to meet with friends and industry peers from this airport and the surrounding area, introduce our maintenance team, and provide tours of our new facility,” said Malcolm MacKenzie, Clay Lacy OXC operations manager. “Our East Coast team, maintenance capabilities, and tooling have expanded steadily over the past two years, and we are proud to provide exceptional support to local operators throughout the Northeastern U.S.”

 


Clay Lacy Aviation, which was founded by Clay Lacy in 1968, offers charter, aircraft management, avionics, interiors, maintenance, and FBO services. It has combined FBO and MRO facilities at Van Nuys Airport (VNY) in California and Seattle Boeing Field (BFI). Besides OXC, the company also has a standalone FAA repair station in San Diego.
