Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

TAG Aviation Europe (Booth W36) has added a new Bombardier Challenger 350 to its charter fleet. The Challenger 350 is the first of the type be delivered in Switzerland. Based in Geneva, the Bombardier jet began flying this month.


Florent Series, vice president of sales and marketing for TAG Aviation Europe, called the 350 “the perfect aircraft for typical European charters,” citing the jet's performance, wide-cabin design, and comfort. The super-midsize aircraft can accommodate up to nine passengers in standard configuration, flies up to 3,199 nm (5,925 km), and has maximum operating speed of Mach 0.83.


The Challenger 350 joins TAG Aviation Europe’s growing fleet of nearly 60 jets that range from a four-seat, entry-level small cabin jet to a Boeing 757.


As TAG Aviation builds up its charter offerings, its Farnborough maintenance services continues to expand. The Farnborough-based maintenance, repair, and overhaul unit recently completed its second 120-month inspection on a Global Express. The Farnborough base is one of two TAG centers of excellence and recently renewed its Bombardier authorized service facility status for another five years. The Global Express project was completed on time and on budget, TAG said.


TAG has been hiring and training a number of engineers at its Farnborough base since December to increase its capacity by 20 percent as demand for maintenance slots and support services have increased. In addition, TAG has added a new dedicated customer support interface to support line maintenance work, reinforced the detailing team with new vehicles, and increased its planning resources for completions and major maintenance events.&nbsp;


Along with Farnborough, TAG Aviation operates a heavy maintenance center in Geneva and has maintenance centers in Sion (Switzerland), Paris and Clermont-Ferrand (France), Madrid, Lisbon, Hong Kong, and Lome in Togo.
