UAS, Honeywell Team On Communications, Trip Support
Under the alliance, UAS is working with Honeywell to launch the UAS LinkEvolution ACARS service.

UAS International Trip Support (Booth E88) and Honeywell Aerospace (Booth 0121) are forming a strategic alliance to expand the reach of their trip support and flight deck and cabin connectivity services.

Under the alliance, UAS is working with Honeywell to launch UAS LinkEvolution, a worldwide ACARS (datalink) service. LinkEvolution, formally rolled out on the eve of EBACE on May 21, will provide access to all worldwide VHF networks, including Arinc and SITA, as well as Inmarsat and Iridium satellite networks.

LinkEvolution is the second product in UAS’s Evolution suite. The company unveiled its flight planning and weather tool UAS FlightEvolution late last year.

In addition to the collaboration on UAS LinkEvolution, the alliance also will give UAS customers increased access to Honeywell’s GoDirect cabin services, including telephone and high-speed Internet services. Further, UAS becomes Honeywell’s preferred trip support provider under the agreement.

“We’re excited to be working with Honeywell on these core competencies; it facilitates both companies to offer best-in-class services,” said Jay Ammar Husary, UAS executive v-p.
