Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

Nordam has restructured its organization, placing responsibility for the firm’s UK repair facility under the purview of T. Hastings Siegfried and the repairs division in Tulsa, Oklahoma, under Phil Marshall.


The UK repair facility, a joint venture of Nordam and GE Aircraft Engine Services, repairs and overhauls thrust reversers, nacelles, engine and exhaust components. In addition to overseeing the Wales facility, Siegfried remains vice chairman of the Nordam board of directors, COO of its transparency group and sales development leader for Asia Pacific.


Marshall, vice president and general manager of the Nordam Interiors &amp; Structures Division, meanwhile, adds the responsibility for the Tulsa unit that repairs a&nbsp;range of aerospace parts, including thrust reversers, nacelles, flight control surfaces, engine and exhaust components and radomes.


“The added assignments align well with existing skills and responsibilities of the two leaders,” Nordam CEO Meredith Siegfried Madden said. “Phil brings significant manufacturing experience to our repair division, which not only repairs parts but also manufactures radomes and spares, while Hastings’ international sales and operation experience meshes well with our UK division and international joint‐venture activities.”


The moves were made after Basil Barimo, former Nordam Repair Group executive v-p, announced plans to leave the company to pursue another opportunity with a non-competing company based in Florida.
