Sheltair Acquires AvAero Facilities at PIE

Sheltair now operates two new hangars as well as 30,000 square feet of warehouse, office and shop space at PIE.

Aviation development company Sheltair recently acquired AvAero Services’ facilities at Florida's St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE). The facilities include two hangars, a 20,000-gallon fuel farm, ramp space and more than 20 acres of land. Sheltair invested $8 million to expand its hangar space at the airport in 2009 and has plans to continue investing there.
