Right on Time, Cessna Citation Longitude Takes Flight

Longitude's flaps, landing gear, pressurization systems, stability and control were tested during the two-hour two-minute maiden flight.

The Cessna Citation Longitude made its successful first flight from the company’s east campus Beech Field Airport in Wichita on Saturday, parent company Textron Aviation announced. This comes less than a year after the company unveiled the new super-midsize business jet at last year's NBAA Convention.
