Calquin Helicopters Leases Airbus AS350 B3 For Andes Operations

The new helicopter will complete utility missions in the Andes Mountains.

Calquin Helicopters S.A., a subsidiary of Spain’s Grupo FAASA, signed an agreement with Ireland-based Waypoint Leasing Limited to lease one Airbus AS350 B3. The helicopter previously completed firefighting operations in Europe and will now be used for high altitude utility missions in Chile’s Andes Mountains. This transaction marks Waypoint’s 17th aircraft release event.
