The 13th LABACE show in São Paulo should be an indicator as to whether Brazilian business aviation is turning the corner on its troubles.

The 13th annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE) is set to open on Tuesday at São Paulo Conghonhas Airport. The three-day event is organized by Brazilian business aviation group ABAG, which believes that the industry is now set to resume a growth trend that has been interrupted by the country’s economic troubles. Brazilian companies received something of a boost from traffic drawn by this month’s Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, although the volumes recorded seem to have been somewhat lower than anticipated.
