Conklin & de Decker’s Life Cycle Cost 16.2 is now available. The upgrade for the financial planning and budgeting software includes research for the Embraer Legacy 450, Piper M600, Daher TBM 930, Airbus Helicopters BK117B2-850, Robinson R44 Cadet and the Diamond DA42-VI. It also features a five-year format from the Aircraft Cost Analysis program that provides a side-by-side analysis of either three different aircraft or the same aircraft in three different acquisition forms.
Life Cycle Cost continues to provide aircraft owners, operators, flight department managers and aircraft consultants with researched ownership and operating cost data for more than 460 jets, turboprops, helicopters and pistons. The newest version features more than 7,000 updated aircraft costs that cover fuel, crew salaries, aircraft inspections, overhauls and retirement items.
The output from Life Cycle Cost helps users by providing the operations department with a 12-month budget analysis or up to 20-year cost projection for variable and fixed costs. Since it calculates the net present value and after-tax cash flow for corporate and commercial operators, finance departments can compare the new present value of different acquisition or disposition methods for multiple aircraft.
