Making a transatlantic trip for maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) work can be cost effective for European operators, according to Jet Aviation’s St. Louis facility, which is promoting its extensive capabilities here at the EBACE show. The Jet Aviation (Booth A050) St. Louis team is working in close collaboration with its sister facility in Basel, Switzerland, to offer clients the option to have work done in the U.S.
“This would mainly make sense for heavy refurbishment work or major maintenance checks,” explained Aaron Kreissler, director of sales with Jet Aviation St. Louis. “For example, we just announced that we have signed our 35th 120-month inspection for [Bombardier] Globals, and that complements our capabilities on other Bombardier airframes, as well as Gulfstream, Boeing Business Jets, Embraer, Hawker and Falcon. And we have delivered more than 230 custom completions.”
