StandardAero Expands Component Repair Capabilities
Facilities in Winnipeg and Cincinnati receive major investment.

StandardAero has completed a major wave of investment and expansion for the aerospace component repair capabilities at its facilities in Winnipeg, Canada, and Cincinnati, Ohio.

At the Winnipeg location, it recently added a plating cell for chrome, nickel, cadmium, silver, tin and copper. The facility already provided platinum aluminide coatings, fluoride ion cleaning, cold metal transfer and laser welding, cladding and drilling. It is also co-developing new OEM-approved repairs to lower operators’ maintenance costs.

StandardAero’s Cincinnati facility has committed to boosting employment and making multimillion-dollar investments in new equipment, including cold spray technologies and facility expansion.
