Pilot Arrested for Falsifying FAA Medical Application
The arrest follows a previous incident of flying an unregistered aircraft without a valid medical.

Luc Quirion, a former pilot, was arrested by DOT agents on August 17 for making false statements on an official FAA medical application in 2014. An investigation into Quiron began in June 2014 after he crashed his single-engine aircraft at the Newport State Airport and subsequently fled the scene. Witnesses claimed he had consumed alcohol before operating the aircraft. The investigation revealed not only that Quirion did not possess a valid medical certificate but also that he was operating an unregistered aircraft.
