Beijing-based Ameco, which has been in growth mode since 2012, recently added a workshop for VIP and business jet completions. The workshop is a reconfigured 17,200-sq-ft space retrofitted to support interior manufacturing. It is the company’s second interior manufacturing workshop. Currently, Ameco’s capabilities on VIP and business jets cover all processes, from design to engineering, certification and installation.

“The new workshop will expand our interior manufacturing capabilities,” said Feng Bin, head of the VIP and business jet services subdivision. “And the newly transformed hangar dedicated for VIP and business jet completion will accommodate new aircraft types.”

Ameco has won Chinese CAAC modification design approval, designed and produced modification kits for customers and signed contracts with several customers to handle their scheduled line checks.
