Delaware Gov. Jack Markell (D), a leading advocate for aviation in his state, will speak at the second-day opening general session (October 22, 10:30 a.m.) at the NBAA Convention in Orlando, Fla. Markell will also participate in an “aviation-related announcement” later that afternoon at the Delaware River & Bay Authority (DRBA) exhibit. A bi-state authority of Delaware and New Jersey, the DRBA operates two airports each in Delaware (Wilmington and Delaware Airpark) and New Jersey (Millville Executive and Cape May), as well as the civil air terminal at Delaware’s Dover Air Force Base.
