Citation Special Olympics Airlift Takes Off on Saturday
More than 100 owners and operators have donated their private aircraft, along with pilots and fuel, to transport Special Olympics athletes and coaches.

The seventh Citation Special Olympics Airlift will get under way on Saturday, flying some 700 athletes from across the U.S. to compete in the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games in New Jersey. The airlift is sponsored and managed by Textron Aviation, and–thanks to its recent acquisition of Beechcraft–for the first time will include Beechcraft owners alongside Cessna Citation operators.
