Lombardo holds an A&amp;P Certificate, ATP, CFI and Ground Instructor ratings. He was a corporate pilot and was a research pilot and flight instructor at the University of Illinois. Skyone Maintenance Services has entered into an alliance with Lockheed Martin’s Kelly Aviation Center, a provider of engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services.


“Lockheed Martin’s Kelly Aviation Center’s expertise will help us provide our customers with a single center of MRO services for airframes and engines,” said Salim Sayani, Skyone CEO


The company is currently building a 225,000-sq-ft MRO facility in Fujairah, UAE.


Established in the Emirate of Fujairah, Skyone Maintenance Services provides aircraft maintenance, field recovery teams and material support to operators of Airbus and Boeing aircraft types, including the 737, A320 and 747. Skyone is located at Fujairah International Airport on the eastern part of the Arabian Peninsula, in a location it says is convenient to the Middle East, Indian and African markets.
