Lombardo holds an A&amp;P Certificate, ATP, CFI and Ground Instructor ratings. He was a corporate pilot and was a research pilot and flight instructor at the University of Illinois. Duncan Aviation’s maintenance, repair and overhaul location in Lincoln, Neb., has received South African Civil Aviation Authority approval as an aircraft maintenance organization. “It’s important to be able to provide service to all of our customers, regardless of location, which is why we’re constantly working to secure new certifications,” said Chris VanderWeide, chief inspector of international airworthiness. In all, Duncan Aviation’s locations in Lincoln and Battle Creek, Mich., and Provo, Utah, hold certificates for 10 different civil aviation authorities around the world.
