The Chester, UK facility of Hawker Beechcraft Global Customer Support has begun maintaining the Beechcraft Premier. The facility, which recently received the necessary EASA repair station ratings, has a long history of Hawker support and also recently received approval to service the Beech King Air 200 and 300 series. A spokesman for the company told AIN the Chester facility is an FAA-certified repair station. “Adding the Premier series to Chester’s service capabilities is just another step in fulfilling our commitment to providing industry-leading service to our growing global customer base across our product lines,” said Christi Tannahill, Hawker Beechcraft vice president, Global Customer Support. “Premier owners and operators in the region will benefit greatly from the expertise and convenience that our Chester facility offers.” The new EASA rating allows the MRO to perform services on the Beechcraft Premier I/IA, including inspections, maintenance, modifications, AOG support and upgrades. The facility anticipates receiving appropriate FAA ratings by January. In addition, the Chester facility also provides design, engineering, certification and fabrication capabilities and complex structural repairs.
