Constant Aviation–a Cleveland, Ohio-based maintenance, repair and overhaul operation–has expanded its Cleveland Hopkins International Airport facility. The 25,000-sq-ft expansion will provide additional space for scheduled and AOG maintenance, and the interior modification/refurbishment division. President Stephen Maiden told AIN the increase in business will be roughly $6 million. “It is important to our organization to continue to offer practical maintenance solutions to our customers while staying ahead of the game and offering the solutions that will take our customers to the next level. We will never lose sight of what is important to our customers,” he said. The interior modification/replacement division will have a custom design department complete with an in-house engineering team, DER services and cabin-reconfiguration abilities. The interior division has the capability to design and install carpet, countertops and cabinet/galleys. The team will also be able to repair and replace all soft goods, including headliners, cabin/cockpit seats, window lines and lower/upper sidewalls. Maiden estimates he will add 30 positions over the next six months to boost the ranks of A&Ps, avionic technicians and interior specialists.
