Eurocopter has officially opened an Indian subsidiary in a move to tackle the local market. The ­helicopter ­manufacturer has only 23 customers there but wants to take advantage of a 20-percent annual growth. New Delhi-headquartered Eurocopter India, which is expecting to increase its current 30-strong workforce, also plans to set up a maintenance network.
