Surrounded by historic aircraft tracing the history of manned flight, NBAA received the prestigious National Aviation Hall of Fame 2010 Milton Caniff “Spirit of Flight Award” on July 16 in Dayton, Ohio, honoring the association for its significant contribution to America’s aviation heritage.

FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt presented the award to NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen and board chairman Patrick Cunningham, director of aviation for PepsiCo, in a ceremony as part of the National Aviation Hall of Fame’s annual “Enshrinement Weekend” at the National Museum of the United States Air Force’s Modern Flight Gallery adjacent to Wright-Patterson AFB.
