TAG Aviation (Booth No. 651) is substantially upgrading its operation here at Geneva Airport. The expansion includes a new hangar built around the existing workshops, and topped by a four-story office building. The new facility, scheduled to open this summer, will include 61,500 sq ft of hangar space, one third more than the previous surface area, and 9,700 sq ft of new offices. TAG will occupy all the space and the new hangar will be devoted exclusively to maintenance, with no parking space available for rent. However, visiting aircraft can park at the recently opened nearby Skypark hangar.
In a second stage of expansion, in August TAG will start to refurbish its FBO facility located in the C3 terminal next to the new hangar and office building. It will move offices out of the lounge area creating additional space for enlarging the FBO. TAG will continue using the executive customs clearance gate also available to Jet Aviation and PrivatPort, which occupy space in the C3 terminal.
