Since last year’s EBACE show, Canada-based training provider CAE (Booth No. 1063) has expanded its offerings by adding eight new full-flight simulators to its training centers in Dallas, New York, London and Dubai. It is currently preparing to install another eight new civil simulators among its global facilities.
At CAE’s Burgess Hill center in the UK, the training program for the Embraer Phenom 100 light jet began last September, employing the company’s 5000 series full-flight simulator and integrated procedures trainer along with classroom avionics coursework and Web-based training. Training will eventually be added for the Phenom 300 as well. This spring, the same facility–which also currently offers training for Bombardier’s Global family; Cessna’s Citation XLS; and Dassault Falcon’s 7X, 2000EX EASy and 900EX EASy–will be augmented by the arrival of two new full-flight simulators–a Learjet 40/45/45XR convertible and a Cessna Citation II.
