Eurocopter AS 350B2, Loreto, Peru, Oct. 29, 2009–The helicopter was substantially damaged after colliding with trees during a forced landing. The AS 350 suffered a total loss of engine power as it descended to a remote landing area. The commercial pilot and one passenger were killed, another was seriously injured, and the remaining passenger was uninjured. Peru’s aviation accident commission is investigating the accident.
