M7 Aerospace has launched a program to support Rolls-Royce 250-series engine operators by teaming with Essential Turbines of Dorval, Quebec. The engine is installed in numerous helicopter models, including Bells, Sikorsky S-76s, MD Helicopters, Agusta 109s, Eurocopter AS 355s, MBB BO105s and others. Under the terms of the agreement, M7 will market Essential Turbines’s overhaul services to customers in the U.S., Central America, South America and to federal, state and local government customers throughout the U.S. M7 Aerospace is offering Rolls-Royce 250-series engine operators support, including complete engine overhauls; compressor, gearbox and turbine repairs; engine exchange; rental programs; and FAA-accredited field maintenance training. According to an M7 spokesman, engine overhauls can be done in 30 days or less, with M7 arranging for pick-up and delivery to the customer’s maintenance provider. M7 will also assist with field services or perform all required maintenance at its ISO 9001:2000, FAA Part 145 repair station located in San Antonio, Texas.
