Duncan Aviation (Booth No. 227) is back at the EBACE show looking to add to its base of foreign customers who already account for about 15 percent of the U.S. group’s business. “The services we provide include large multi-shop work scopes where we are able to offer very efficient turn times, as well as more specific accessory and engine repair work or parts sales,” Duncan president Aaron Hilkemann told EBACE Convention News. 
Meanwhile, in the U.S., Duncan continues to expand its offerings. For years, it has been a Honeywell service center for engines and avionics but has recently expanded its relationship with the OEM to include mechanical components. The new service center authorization allows Duncan to expand the company’s capabilities for operators of Hawker business jets and King Air turboprops, as well as for Bombardier Learjets and Challengers, IAI Astra/Westwinds, Dassault Falcons and Cessna Citations. 
In March, Duncan Aviation delivered its first Bombardier Learjet 45 with WAAS LPV certification. The Universal Avionics dual UNS-1Ew installation with LPV approach capability provides ILS-like guidance down to near CAT I ILS minimums (as low as 200 feet with a half-mile visibility). The STC covers Learjet 40 and 45 models. The company is working on several more Learjet 40/45 WAAS LPV installations now that the certification process is complete. 
“We are planning the same Universal solution with LPV certification for the Astra SPX/Gulfstream G100 and we’re working with Honeywell on its upcoming dual NZ-2000 FMS with WAAS LPV certification for the Falcon 900,” Hilkemann said. Duncan has also jumped into the very light jet pool. “With the recent completion of our first paint work for an Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft and the addition of line maintenance for the Pratt &amp; Whitney 617F-E engines, we’re now addressing the needs of an entirely new set of aircraft owners,” Hilkemann said. 
“We are thrilled to see the first Phenom aircraft,” Duncan Aviation chairman Todd Duncan said. “We have a great relationship with Embraer and are looking forward to continuing to provide excellent service to Embraer customers, including with the beautiful new Phenom 100.”
In late 2006, Duncan Aviation’s Lincoln, Nebraska and Battle Creek, Michigan facilities were named authorized service centers for the Embraer Legacy 600, Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 aircraft. With this approval, the company is cleared to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance up to and including the 48-month inspection, AOG support, troubleshooting, engine and APU removal and installation, warranty work, modifications and repairs, and component replacement for the Embraer executive jet fleet.

Additionally, with the decline in the dollar during the past years, they can take advantage of the exchange rate and get even more value for the cost,” Hilkemann said. &nbsp;&nbsp;
