Charles Alcock is managing editor of the AIN Media Group, having rejoined the company in 2019. He has been an aviation journalist since 1986, and previously worked for AIN from 1990 to 2017, most recently as editor-in-chief. His main focus is on covering new aviation technology and business models, as well as international news.
Having been raised in the London area, Alcock studied at the University of Manchester in the UK and earned an honors degree in Politics and Modern History. He speaks English and French, and some German.

Marshall Aerospace (Booth No. 1449) is designing and building nacelles for the new HondaJet aircraft under a contract placed in August, but not announced until late last year. The Cambridge, UK-based company is due to deliver the first five sets of nacelles to HondaJet’s headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina, next month. It then hopes to be awarded a production contract for the nacelles, which will house the General Electric/Honda HF118 engines which will power the aircraft from their distinctive position above the wing.
Marshall had completed the preliminary design review for the part-composite nacelles in December, when it also reached the critical design review stage of the project. The company has extensive experience of designing lightweight aerostructures, such as fuel tanks for Boeing airliners. It also has long experience performing major modifications to aircraft such as the C-130 military transport. &nbsp;&nbsp;
