ExecuJet Aviation is stepping up the expansion of its business aviation support business in the Asia Pacific region with new maintenance and handling facilities in Malaysia and Australia. At Kuala Lumpur’s Subang Airport, where ExecuJet already operates an FBO through a joint venture with Hawker Pacific, the company is preparing to establish a maintenance operation but has yet to confirm details of which business aircraft this will support.
Meanwhile, in Australia at Melbourne’s Essendon Airport, ExecuJet has opened a new facility large enough to accommodate two large-cabin business jets and four midsize jets. The Essendon facility supports midsize and large jets from Cessna, Hawker Beechcraft, Bombardier and Gulfstream as well as turboprops powered by Honeywell TPE331 and Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 engines. ExecuJet also plans to build an FBO to provide handling at Essendon and in September it will open a new maintenance facility and FBO at Brisbane.
