Century CRM announced the addition of two pilot instructors to allow the company to host multiple cockpit resource management courses concurrently. One of Century CRM’s most popular courses, titled “Resource Management for Aviation Professionals,” has earned FAA approval as an inspection authorization (IA) refresher training program. The company is introducing its newest staff members and discussing its CRM training at Booth No. 1294.

The new instructors arrive at Century CRM with more than 15,000 hours of flight experience each. Gary Hale is a captain on the Boeing 737, which caps a pilot career that began in the USAF flying the KC-135 on aerial refueling missions. Hale earned promotions to commander, instructor pilot and flight examiner, and served as a trans-oceanic mission planner before leaving the military.

Paul Clarke also started his career with the USAF at the USAF Academy. He trained as an F-16 pilot, rising to serve as the flight lead, instructor pilot, and then filling the role of flight examiner before switching to commercial airlines. Clarke is a captain on the Boeing MD-88.

Century offers its IA-certified program as an NBAA professional development course, and will also announce periodic sessions in the coming months as they are scheduled. Steve Hopkins, chief instructor for Century CRM, noted that the certification delivers twice the credit for professional education in a single session.
The course holds an official FAA designation as “Human Factors, Safety Management Systems, and Technical Training for Maintenance Professionals.”

Century CRM is based in Peachtree City, Ga., and is the only standalone provider of CRM training recognized by the FAA.
