He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in education from the University of Illinois, has taught aviation for over 35 years in industry and as a university professor and academic dean at three different universities. He is also a frequent seminar and after-dinner motivational speaker.&nbsp;
Lombardo holds an A&amp;P Certificate, ATP, CFI and Ground Instructor ratings. He was a corporate pilot and was a research pilot and flight instructor at the University of Illinois. Mxi Technologies has announced that Teknik Servis Sanayi Ticaret (myTechnic), a start-up MRO facility in Turkey, has selected the Maintenix maintenance management software. MyTechnic is located on the Sabiha Gokcen Airport on the Asian side of Istanbul.
According to Da lar Çizmeci, myTechnic’s CFO and a member of its board of directors, the software will provide the company with engineering, heavy and shop maintenance, materials management and finance functionality. “The software’s advanced automation and real-time visibility will allow us to maximize labor productivity, leading to fast turnaround times and efficiency in operational costs,” he said.
