<p>Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America (MHIA) on October 9 donated $25,000 to the Wings Over the Rockies Air &amp; Space Museum in Denver. The donation will help pay for Denver-area students to participate in the museum’s Special Outreach with Aerospace Resources (Soar) program, which promotes aerospace education and careers. “As we advance through the 21st century,” said Noel Takayama, general manager of MHIA’s MU-2 product support division, “aviation needs and expertise are becoming more crucial and we must step up efforts to meet those needs with properly trained professionals.” Notable attendees at the donation ceremony included Barrington Irving, who flew around the world earlier this year, and members of the World War II aircrew organization Tuskegee Airmen.</p>
