<p>Adam Aircraft Industries reported the closing of a “significant investment” by GS Capital Partners 2000, a private equity fund managed by the prestigious Goldman Sachs–where Adam CEO Rick Adam was formerly a general partner. None of the parties would disclose the dollar value of the investment, but Adam said that it is sufficient to fund the company through certification and initial production of its A500 centerline-thrust piston twin (aiming for FAA approval in July) and the A700 very light twinjet derivative (scheduled for certification late next year). </p>
