The Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) is handing out free copies of its 2007/08 Pilot’s Guide to Avionics at its NBAA booth (No. 2831). The new edition contains more than 180 pages of current information on avionics equipment, as well as a worldwide directory of certified avionics manufacturers, distributors and facilities.
The Pilot’s Guide also provides articles designed to help with buying decisions. These include, among others, “New Products Pilots and Owners Will Want”; guides to audio panel systems, transponders, cockpit portables and integrated display technology; “Before and After Cockpit Makeovers”; the role of avionics in aircraft purchasing and “10 Questions To Ask Before Selecting an Avionics Shop.”
