Aircraft systems provider Parker Aerospace (Booth No. 6841) announced it has won contracts with Embraer and Cessna for flight control subsystems.

Embraer selected the Irvine, Calif.-based division of Parker Hannifin to supply the control subsystems on the Brazilian OEM’s Phenom 300 light jet. Parker’s control systems division will design and produce the aircraft’s fly-by-wire spoiler system and electromechanical pitch trim system, yaw and roll trim actuation, flap system and centralized electronic controller. The first nine-passenger Phenom 300 is expected to enter service in mid-2009.
