Final Report: Update on Canadian Caravan crash

Cessna Caravan 208B, Lake Erie, Ontario, Jan. 17, 2004–The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has revealed that the investigation of the crash of Georgian Express Flight 126, a Cessna Caravan, near Pelee Island has so far determined that the structure of the aircraft was sound at the time of the flight; the aircraft engine was operational and producing power; and the aircraft was overweight when it took off from Pelee Island. The results of a number of tests are not yet available and investigators are also continuing to examine aircraft and company operational procedures and human factors.
