Cessna Caravan 208B, Lake Erie, Ontario, Jan. 17, 2004βThe Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) has revealed that the investigation of the crash of Georgian Express Flight 126, a Cessna Caravan, near Pelee Island has so far determined that the structure of the aircraft was sound at the time of the flight; the aircraft engine was operational and producing power; and the aircraft was overweight when it took off from Pelee Island. The results of a number of tests are not yet available and investigators are also continuing to examine aircraft and company operational procedures and human factors.
