The combined Aviation Services and Suppliers Supershow (AS3) and GSE International Expo is now called “Aviation Industry Week.” As it was last year for the first time, this month’s event combines the conventions of the National Air Transportation Association (NATA); the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA); and the GSE (Ground Support Equipment) International Expo trade show. The exhibit floor will feature more than 400 companies hawking their merchandise and services, split about evenly between NATA/PAMA and GSE registrants.

Held in Las Vegas again this year (a venue that could become permanent, according to industry speculation), the trade show doesn’t open its doors until Tuesday, May 18, but seminars and other events kick off the preceding Sunday. The exhibit floor at the Las Vegas Convention Center is open for three days (through May 20), but add-on programs are scheduled to run through Friday, May 21, justifying the new name for the event.
