The National Air Transportation Association has increased the size of its Washington-area staff with the hiring of former Professional Aviation Maintenance
The National Air Transportation Association has increased the size of its Washington-area staff with the hiring of former Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA) president Stan Mackiewicz and Beth Van Emburgh, who had been working at the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA).
Mackiewicz, who will be a NATA representative for government and industry affairs, most recently served as a business development and government affairs consultant to several aerospace companies. Previously, he was executive director of Embry-Riddle’s Aviation and Space Technology Academy in Daytona Beach, Fla. In addition to serving as head of PAMA, he has held management positions with UNC Airwork, Sundstrand, Williams International and Avco Lycoming.
