The Farnborough Air Show is to retain its seven-day format, but it will now consist of just three full trade days along with a new “industry day” and an “exhibitor family day,” in addition to the traditional two public days. Next year’s show (Monday, July 17, to Sunday, July 23) will begin with an industry day devoted to “specialist workshops and conferences.” An early evening opening ceremony held in central London (35 miles from the airshow site) will follow.

The next three days will be full trade days, with the show open, as usual, from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Organizers have set aside Friday, July 21 for exhibitors’ families to visit the show, and the traditional public weekend will follow.
