Business aviation is growing in Africa, according to Ettore Poggi, managing director of ExecuJet South Africa. To highlight its FBO, charter/management, sales and maintenance capabilities, the company participated in the Africa Aerospace & Defence Airshow in Cape Town from September 20 to 24. “Over the last few years we have seen a significant growth in the interest shown in business aviation by the private sector,” Poggi said. “This interest has been spurred by South African business expansion into Africa and the economic growth experienced in South Africa and other African countries.” ExecuJet’s FBO at Berlin Schoenefeld Airport in Germany opened in May.
