Spanish operator Helisureste has taken delivery of an Agusta- Westland 139. The new helicopter will be used on the company’s scheduled service flying between Malaga and the Spanish enclave of Ceuta, on the north African coast.
The €8 million AW139 can seat 15 passengers. The current Bell 214EP can fit 12. Sector time is also reduced and the passengers get a smoother ride, according to Helisureste commercial director Antonio Martinez. “We hope to place the Bell in another role–possibly an EMS contract in Portugal.”
