Boeing Lands Orders for Nineteen 777 Freighters

Boeing has recorded orders for 65 widebody freighters this year and more than 180 since early 2014.

Boeing landed two deals for nineteen 777 freighters worth $6.4 billion at list prices on Monday at the Farnborough Airshow. Cargo giant DHL signed for 14 of the widebody freighters, with purchase rights for another seven—a deal worth $4.7 billion at list prices. The order is part of DHL’s renewal of its long-haul fleet.
