Embraer confirms that “at the present time” it has no large-airplane project. The Brazilian manufacturer concedes, however, that initiatives for joint ventures 
or new products could arise later. 

Meanwhile, its clearer perception of the future will appear in January, with online publication of its 20-year market outlook. The company predicts demand for 6,750 jets with capacity for 30 to 120 passengers valued at $220 billion. Most of these (62.3 percent, or 3,800 aircraft) are seen as long-term requirements for delivery after 2018.
