Honeywell scores three airline deals

Honeywell will leave Singapore with agreements to place its equipment on three Asia Pacific airlines’ airplanes.

Honeywell will leave Singapore with agreements to place its equipment on three Asia Pacific airlines’ airplanes. The transactions involved avionics, auxiliary power units, wheels and brakes, as well as comprehensive maintenance.

The company will provide the full suite of avionics and its APU for Kingfisher Airlines, India’s fast-growing premium airline. The agreement covers avionics for new Airbus 320s, A330s and A340s, as well as 131-9A model APUs for new A320s. Deliveries of the avionics and APUs are under way and continue through aircraft deliveries planned until 2011.
