Kerry Lynch stepped into the role of editor of the&nbsp;Aviation International News&nbsp;monthly magazine in May 2022 after serving with&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;for eight years. She joined&nbsp;AIN&nbsp;in December 2014 as a senior editor covering Washington and business aviation news. She has also served on Convention News teams, including as editor of&nbsp;HAI Convention News. Lynch previously spent 25 years with Aviation Week. During her time there, she reported for and later steered&nbsp;The Weekly of Business Aviation, oversaw business aviation content on the&nbsp;Aviation Week Intelligence Network, served on the&nbsp;Show News&nbsp;staff, and held roles as the Washington columnist for&nbsp;Business &amp; Commercial Aviation&nbsp;and&nbsp;Overhaul &amp; Maintenance&nbsp;monthly magazines. In 2021 she was honored with the National Business Aviation Association Platinum Wing Award for lifetime achievement in journalism and was the 2004 recipient of the National Air Transportation Association’s Aviation Journalism Excellence Award. She also has been a recipient of an Aerospace Media Award for business aviation (2022) and NBAA Gold Wing Award (2003, 2024). Lynch graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor of arts in journalism.

Dassault Aviation arrived at the Paris Air Show with the breadth of its products—from the latest versions of the Rafale, a model of its unmanned combat air system, and a replica of a future combat aircraft on its defense side. Its business jet lineup includes the Falcon 6X and 8X, as well as a 10X cabin mockup.
Alongside the display is a separate building housing a “Battle Lab” to show collaborative air combat situations, in addition to a customer support area. On the space side, Dassault also has a presence at the Paris Air Lab and Paris Space Hub.
Also on its busy agenda, Dassault Aviation is participating in the l’Avion de Métiers career event and l’Aéro Recrute recruitment campaign organized through the French Aerospace Industries Association, in addition to partnering with the Women in Aerospace event.
During the airshow flying display, the French Air and Space Force is performing with the Rafale while Dassault is demonstrating the Falcon 6X.
Dassault Aviation chairman and CEO Éric Trappier discussed the importance of showcasing its array of products, from highlighting the coming of combat aircraft within the next 20 years to representing its commitment to renewing its business jet line. “Furthermore, our spacecraft project, designed for both civil and military applications, could become a key strategic advantage for France and Europe as global powers continue to push the limits of space exploration,” he said.
Trappier added that the airshow provides the industry with the opportunity to meet with the general public, who are coming in growing numbers. “France’s enduring passion for aviation remains a cornerstone of our national sovereignty and excellence in the sector.”
