Trelleborg Expands Delivery of Aerospace Sealing Technologies

New polymer solutions and acquisitions maintain Trelleborg as a global leader in sealing solutions for the aerospace sector.

Trelleborg is showcasing polymer technologies for aerospace and advanced air mobility (AAM) at the Paris Airshow, specifically sealing products for cabins and interiors, airframes and structures, energy management systems, propulsion, controls, and actuation.

Trelleborg manufactures a range of components for functional and aesthetic interior aerospace applications such as storage bins, light fittings, and air conditioning nozzles and bezels. At Paris, the company will feature its Turcon VL Seal II, used for hydraulic sealing of actuators in flight controls and landing gear and seals in landing gear shock absorbers. Evolved from its predecessor Turcon VL Seal, this second-generation product has enhanced sealing efficiency, easier installation, and greater reliability. Zero-leakage performance means an extended service life and minimized planned maintenance.
