FlightSafety Soldiers On in Wake of Wichita Accident
Crash caused training for Cessna Caravan and some Citation models to be suspended at Wichita Cessna Pilot Learning Center.

Though training for the Cessna Caravan and some Citation models has been suspended at FlightSafety International’s Wichita Cessna Pilot Learning Center since a King Air 200 crashed into the company’s North facility at Wichita International Airport a week ago, a company spokesman told AIN that “customers will be able to get the training they need” in these models at other FSI centers.

Cessna Caravan/G600/G1000 and Citation XLS/XLS+, Mustang, VII, M2, CJ3+ and CJ4 training at the North facility was disrupted by the crash, which severely damaged the simulator bay building and a Caravan simulator. Customers who are scheduled for training in these models at the Wichita facility “will be contacted within the next week to discuss training options,” FlightSafety said.
