Republic Hosts CSeries
Delivery schedules call for Republic to take its first CS300 in late 2016.

In an effort apparently intended to quell concerns about the uncertain disposition of Republic Airways’ order for 40 CSeries CS300s, Bombardier on October 6 flew CSeries FTV4 from its testing grounds in Wichita to Indianapolis International Airport, where airline employees, management and board members assembled to view the new narrowbody. Despite Republic’s divestment of would-be CSeries operator Frontier Airlines, the order for 40 airplanes and options on another 40, placed in February 2010, remains on Bombardier’s books.

Delivery schedules call for Republic to take its first CS300 in late 2016, but scope clauses in all of its mainline pilot contracts would prohibit their operation within the company’s regional affiliate networks.
